Tuscany is probably one of the most visited Italian regions by tourists (and people who get married, etc) from all over the World. Art, culture, landscapes are certainly unique in this part of Italy, but Tuscan food probably mixes up all of those elements and sometimes even changes people’s view about what real and genuine Italian food can be! Milan has got bits of Tuscany everywhere in the city and Il Vinaio di Furio certainly stands out on the map.

Quirky and with character, this small establishment surely gives you the feeling of an old osteria that has well adapted to the 21st century. I’ll make it short: the wine choice is first class and the food is outstanding. Despite being mainly a place to taste and enjoy wine, they serve amazing bites of good sh*t and they keep it very simple: it’s all about cold cuts, cheeses and comfort food. At Il Vinaio di Furio I had the chance to try roe with potatoes for the first time and it was nice and tasty, plus it reminded me of some of the foods my grandma used to make for me when I was a child, so that’s always a good thing, right? Last but not least: they also have board games, which means that no one will rush you and kick you out when you finish your meals or drinks, like they do way too often in other places in the city…
